1 Pre-Candidates who do not pass Praxis I should repeat EDRC 100.

2 Candidates who wish to take professional education courses in the spring should register for the required assessments no later than December 10 in order to meet the Spring Semester Registration deadline. Candidates who wish to take professional education courses in the fall, should register for the required assessments no later than July 15 to meet the Fall Registration deadline.

3 Candidates who wish to student teach in the spring should register for the Praxis II test administered no later than September in order to meet the November 1 Student Teaching Application deadline. Candidates who wish to student teach in the fall, should register for the Praxis II no later than March to meet the April 10 application deadline.

4 The student teaching experience is a direct, substantial, and full-day obligation, which spans a minimum of 13 weeks. Standards require the prospective teacher to spend a minimum of 200 clock hours in the classrooms on a full-time basis.
