The Ministry Finance and Economic Development has secured funds from ARAB BANK FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN AFRICA(BADEA), SAUDI FUND FOR DEVELOPMENT (SFD),OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), and the Government of The Republic of Sierra Leone (GoSL)towards the cost of a project to support the”Rehabilitation and expansion of Fourah Bay College University of Sierra Leone”now invites sealed bids from ARABor AFRICAN or ARAB/AFRICANJoint venture and OPEC Member contractors for General Civil Engineering works.

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from the Head of the Project Implementation Unit, Fourah Bay College University of Sierra Leone after Paying SLL 5,000,000 (Five Million Leones) for Printed Copy of the Tender Document or in freely convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash or bank certified cheque. There shall be a mandatory Site visit and Pre-Tender meeting after the site visit at Fourah Bay College. Bidders are welcome to attend a pre-bid site visit schedule 16th December 2015. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and shall be accompanied by bid security (in the format included in section IV, “Contractual Forms, Qualification Information, Guarantees (security) Forms and site visit Forms” of an amount not less than ( USD 1,000,000.00) One Million United States Dollars, duly signed by the guarantor and must be deposited in the tender box at the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Fourah Bay College on or before 14.00 hours local time on 22nd March 2016.

The Bids should be clearly marked “FBC/BADEA/ REB/CON/ ICB01” Rehabilitation and expansion of Fourah Bay College” and should be deposited in the tender box at the Deputy Vice Chancellor Conference Hall, Mount Aureol, Freetown.

The closing date for the receipt of bids is on 22nd March 2016 at 14.00 hours local time. The bids shall be opened soon after closing in the Conference Room of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Mount Aureol, Freetown.

LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
