Head Coaches MUST Implement and Run the High School Offense

2017 COACHING REQUIREMENTS

MYF will be accepting an email of interest for coaching positions for the 2017 year. If you are interested in coaching at the levels that have openings, you must visit www.molallayouthfootball.com and register as a coach for the grade level that you are interested in coaching. Once registered you will receive information regarding an interview/discussion with the MYF board so that you will understand our expectations of the coaches involved in the MYF organization. The MYF Board of Directors MUST approve all coaches involved in the program. Head Coach’s do not have the final say. If you are working out a “verbal agreement” with a head coach, you are going down the wrong path. MYF Board of Directors will approve each and every assistant. We will assign coaches based on what is best for the program as a whole, not each person’s individual needs.

The following will be requirements that each coach involved in our program must accomplish prior to becoming a coach.

Head Coaches MUST implement and run the high school offense.

Attend an interview/discussion with the MYF board of directors.

Obtain a first aid and CPR card, complete USA Football Heads Up certification.

Attend a TVYFL mandatory coaches meeting on rules, bylaws, and code of conduct.

you must pass the test given at this class.

Attend a mandatory coach’s clinic that MYF designates for you to attend.

Attend the MYF Coaches meeting.

Positive support of not only MYF program but the MHS Football Program as well.

Follow MYF’s coach’s code of conduct, rules, and bylaws.

Pass mandatory background check.

MYF will only use people who have the best interest of the entire program at heart. We are looking for people who put development ahead of winning. The goal of our program is not to win every game at the expense of not developing ALL players who have paid to play. You must be willing to coach all kids and make them excited about playing the game of football. Their self-image and participation is a priority, not your coaching record.
