FOUR YEAR FUNDING – ORGANISATIONS

Four-Year funding for organisations replaces the previously suspended six year funding program. To read more about the revised grants model clickhere.

Organisations who submitted an expression of interest (EOI) to the six year funding program will be contacted in early August and offered feedback.

Four-Year funding will be available for Australian organisations of regional, national and international standing to support annual programs of arts and cultural activities.

Organisations must demonstrate artistic achievement and ambition with a compelling four year plan. To be competitive in the assessment process organisations will need to show that they are well governed, effectively managed, resilient and generate diversified income streams. Funding for successful organisations will commence in 2017.

It is anticipated that organisations will be able to apply for between $75,000 and $300,000 per year.

Four-year funding is intended to support vibrant artistic programs by contributing to organisational overhead costs and/or the direct costs of delivering successful programs.

Four-year funding is not intended to entirely subsidise an organisation’s on-going operating costs.

Organisations in receipt of Four Year funding from 2017 will not be eligible to apply to the Arts Projects – Organisations category for the duration of their funding agreement.
