Foundation Innovation Grant
Application
Teachers can apply for a Foundation Innovation Grant from $1,000-$10,000. All educators in Canyons School District are eligible to apply for funding to implement worthwhile and innovative projects related to student achievement. All grants for less that $1,000 should be loaded on DonorsChoose.org for private funding.
Individual teachers, as well as teams of teachers, may submit applications for project funding. If a team of teachers receives a winning grant, the equipment must stay in the school where the grant originated. Individual teachers may transfer equipment if they are moving to another CSD school.
Applications, which will be reviewed by the Foundation Innovation Grant Committee, are due by Friday, September 30, 2016 by 5:00pm. Grants will be awarded in November.

Criteria:
1)Awards will be based on the educational merit, as well as innovation, of the proposed project.
2)Applications should be submitted electronically or through district mail.
3)Funds cannot be used for food.
4)The Foundation Innovation Grant Committee will consider all core-related applications.
5)Reusable materials will become the property of Canyons School District.
6)Funds must be spent during the 2016-2017 school year.
7)Grant recipients must submit an outcome report and account for all funds spent.

- Abstract/Overview of the Project, including goals and objectives (limit 500 words).
- How the project enhances the educational program for students (limit 300 words).
- Specific activities and how it relates to the curriculum (limit 300 words).
- A time-line for implementation (limit 300 words).
