Abstract

The length of the abstract should be 150 – 250 words. The abstract should appear immediately following the title and the names of authors, and should not repeat information already present in the title. Author should state specifically the contents of the paper without reading the main body. State briefly the subject, methods, equipment, results and discussion of research. A summary leading to conclusions is not required.

Key words : Three to Five key words should be chosen that best describe the contents of the paper. Capitalize the initial letter of each word.

1.0  Guideline

The format of the ASMP & RAMM full papers follows that of Journal of JSME(1).

*Note : some selected papers presented in the Materials session will be published in the Journal.

The quality of English must be sufficient at the time of submission. Manuscripts should be easy to read and their contents presented clearly. As a rule, manuscripts should be written in American English. However, manuscripts written in British English may be accepted if consistent throughout the paper. The authors should use 10 pt Times New Roman or alternative font.

2.0  The order of your manuscript

The following order is the recommended structure of a manuscript :

·  Introduction (purpose of research, significant of research supported by a literature survey, outline of contents, explanation and others).

·  Nomenclature (Subscripts)

·  Main body of text (theoretical analysis, method, results of experiment, interpretation of results and discussion)

·  Conclusion (conclusion obtained through research)

·  Acknowledgement

·  Appendix

·  References

The above order is presented as an example, and authors may select the most suitable and effective style for the contents of their manuscript.
