For This Assignment, You Will Be Telling a Greek Myth Using a Powerpoint Presentation

Mythology Project

For this assignment, you will be studying a Greek myth. Worth 35 points.

·  Choose a myth from the ones suggested below. If you want to do a myth not on the list, check with Mrs. Johnson.

·  Find pictures that illustrates the god or parts of the myth. (Pictures can be found on Goggle or Yahoo.) Any inappropriate pictures will considerably reduce your grade. Save the images to your documents.

·  Research your myth. Find out the god’s parents or other pertinent facts. Add those facts to your report. Figure what question this myth answers.

·  Rewrite the myth in your own words; it should be at least 5-7 sentences long. Remember correct capitalization, punctuation, and spelling counts!

·  Create a PowerPoint presentation. Make a minimum of 4 slides with at least 2 pictures. First slide must include myth’s name, picture of myth, and your name. Type your report into text boxes. Add some animations. The last slide must state what question is answered and give your citations.

·  Remember to cite the website you used for reference on the last slide. You must have at least 1 reputable source (no Wikipedia). Here are some suggestions:
