28th Annual Parade of Homes: Still Living the American Dream

WILMINGTON – The Wilmington – Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA) is proud to announce the 28th Annual Parade of Homes™ showcasing the craftsmanship, diversity, and quality of the region’s premier homes. The Parade will run two weekends, Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27 and Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4. Homes will be open from noon to 5 p.m. each day.

“For 28 years the Parade of Homes has been the first place for families interested in the Cape Fear region to explore the options of new homeownership, whether they are looking for a new home, a vacation home or planning to relocate to our area,” says Cameron Moore, Executive Officer of WCFHBA.

The WCFHBA began the annual Parade of Homes™ event in 1987. The first Parade featured 26 homes located throughout New Hanover County. The tour was held over one weekend in October and featured homes with prices averaging $100,000. Today as our economy rebounds, so does our new home market – reflected in the variety, quality and craftsmanship of this year’s Parade – Still Living the American Dream. The 28th Annual Parade of Homes™ will features more than 50 of the region’s top homes in a variety of price ranges.
