·  Allsurfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust and grease.

·  Existing painted surfaces should be prepared to provide a good key for the new paint to adhere to.

·  In order to check for compatibility between paints you should always test the paint on a small inconspicuous area first, and follow the heat up procedure outlined below. We cannot guarantee compatibility with all paints so this procedure must be followed.

·  Before applying the paint all surfaces should be cold and all forms of ignition turned off.

·  Shake can vigorously for 2 minutes after mixing ball rattles.

·  Ensure work area is well-ventilated and you are not spraying near naked flames or incandescent materials.

·  Spray towards object 300-375mm (12-15”) from surface.

·  Press spray firmly and use steady even strokes.

·  Gently replace nozzle with a twisting motion pointing away from you.

·  For cleaning purposes invert can and spray for a few seconds until only clear solvent escapes.

·  During the spraying process, whilst drying, and for the first three times you use the appliance you should open windows and doors, and if necessary use fans, to provide a fresh airflow as the paint may give off fumes and smoke.

·  Use kindling only on the first couple offires after applying the paint, burning for 15-20 minutes with the second burn being started whilst the appliance is still warm.

·  A full fire should be burnt for 45-60 minutes again, starting whilst the appliance is still warm, then allowed to cool naturally. This will finish the curing process, no further fumes or odour should now be produced and the paint will have reached it's maximum hardness.
