Dear Player,
On behalf of the Macarthur Football Association the Macarthur Rams and the Macarthur Rams Women we would like to invite you to a Football Festival to be held at Lynwood Park Rangers Road St Helens Pk. These events are opportunities for the young players from our Community clubs to experience playing on the brand new synthetic playing surface with players from other clubs. It also provides a chance for our talent scouts to see all the players in the one place to assess their ability and identify where the players are at in terms of their development. Following the festivals we have excellent opportunities for the young players to develop their ability at all levels through our new club based programs which will be launched soon. Players can develop their talent in a twenty (20) week program at their local club which is designed to provide extra training locally in order to assist the players’ talent potential and / or for those who simply wish to improve their technical skills through extra training. Some players will also be selected from the Festivals to attend the Macarthur Pathway Training with SAP squads which leads into trials later in the year and possible section into higher level football.

U / 8 boys and girls (2016 ages) 6 – 7.30pm Tuesday 6thSeptember
U / 9 boys and girls (2016 ages) 6 – 7.30pm Wednesday 7thSeptember
U / 10 boys and girls (2016 ages) 6 – 7.30pm Tuesday 13th September
U/ 11 boys and girls (2016 ages) 6 – 7.30pm Wednesday 14th September
What to bring:
Football boots, shin pads, drink bottle and good manners
How will the nights be conducted?
We will be using highly qualified and experienced staff who will be presenting FFA National Football Curriculum based Skills sessions as follows -
Players will be split into groups to do skills work then randomly placed into teams to play small sided games among themselves to finish the session all players will be integrated as much as possible to give them an opportunity to enhance their football experience by playing and training with different players.
All players must register for the Festival that they wish to play in by filling out the form below by no later than COB Friday August 26th and emailing it back . Once we have your form we will be back in touch with you via email by COB Friday September 2nd.
