1. What advice did your father give you? Why do you follow it?
2. It’s hard to evaluate ourselves but take a moment to discover a way in which you are following the world. (pursuit of money, pride, individualism, consumerism, hatred, emphasize physical over spiritual, hyper busyness, etc.) Now pray that God will transform that area of your life.
3. Sometimes it seems scary to think of a close relationship to God because He knows all our failures but one of the questions that determines how we live is how close do you really want to be to God? Another way to say it how much are you willing to sacrifice for God?
