Abstract

This document is a template for use by authors sending manuscripts to the Asia Mathematika. The title of the manuscript must be written in lower case except for the first word and proper nouns. The abstract must not be longer than 300 words and must clearly state the study’s purpose and results. The manuscript’s title and abstract must not contain mathematical formulae.

Keywords: The key words must be separated by commas and should not include acronyms.

Subject Classification: From MSC 2010

Introduction

Be sure to outline the organization of your paper, providing a brief synopsis of each section.
Do not use subsections in the introduction.
The introduction should not exceed 20% of the length of the manuscript’s text.

2 Equations, Figures and Tables

2.1 Equations

Use style ‘Equation’ for displayed equations. They should be centred, 6pt space above and below to the text. Equation numbers should be flush right. Please use Equation Editor to create displayed equations. Below is an example created with Microsoft Equation 3.0:

3.4.2 Figures

Illustrations should be included directly in the files you submit. They should be at high resolution (300 dpi). All illustrations must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numbers in bold type (e.g. Fig. 1, etc). The size of

Fig. 1. Use ‘Figure caption’ style for figure caption: Times New Roman, 10 pt, flush left.

a figure should be commensurate with the amount and value of the information the figure has to convey. Please bear in mind that colour illustrations should remain clear when printed in monochrome. Centre figures on the width of the page. Position figures at the top and the bottom of a page. Do not assemble figures at the back of your paper, but place them as close as possible to where they are mentioned in the main text.

Use ‘Figure caption’ style for the figure caption: Times New Roman, 10 pt, flush centre, 6pt space above caption to figure, 12 pt space below caption to text.

3.4.3 Tables

Tables should be numbered consecutively (in Arabic numbers) and centred on the page width. Table headings (style ‘Table title’) should be placed above tables: 10 pt Times New Roman, 12 pt space above table heading to text, 6pt space below to table. Avoid vertical lines where possible. Detailed explanations or entries should be typed directly beneath the table. Position tables at the top or bottom of a page and place them as close as possible to where they are mentioned in the main text.

Conclusion

This should clearly explain the main conclusions of the work highlighting its importance and relevance.

Acknowledgments

All acknowledgments (if any) should be included at the very end of the paper before the references and may include supporting grants, presentations, and so forth.

References

Do not include personal communications, unpublished data, websites, or other unpublished materials as references, although such material may be inserted (in parentheses) in the text. If the author of a reference is an organisation or corporation, use its name in the reference list (using an abbreviation in the citation, if appropriate); do not use “Anonymous”. In the case of publications in languages other than English, the published English title should be provided if one exists, with an annotation such as “(article in Turkish with an abstract in English)”. If the publication was not published with an English title, provide the original title only; do not provide a self-translation.

All authors should be included in reference lists unless there are 10 or more, in which case only the first 10 should be given, followed by ‘et al.’ The manuscript should be checked carefully to ensure that the spellings of the authors’ names and the years are exactly the same in the text as given in the reference list. References should be formatted as follows (please note the punctuation and capitalisation):
