Final EXAM Presentation Scheel’s SENIOR ENGLISH

Worth5% of your Semester Grade:

You will design a digital presentation that tells the STORY (narrative) of one (or more) of the chapters in your Senior Memory Book. The story may amuse us, inspire us, or just inform us, but keep in mind that we don’t want to endure a slide show of pictures that are hastily put together AND/OR are unexplained.

A multimedia Presentation involves sound and picture and can play with a click of a button. The following are possible programs to use in creating your presentation: iMovie, Windows MovieMaker (on computers at IRHS), Photopeach, Animoto, PowToon, Prezi, and PowerPoint w/ audio/video.

This digital multimedia presentation will be 3-5 minutes (not including any credits at the end…). If the minimum time is not met (or the pacing seems too slow), then the grade will notearn morethan a C and it may not earn even that.

*** It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your presentation PLAYS/WORKS on the due date; if it plays on YouTube, it will play at school. *****

We will talk about format and content ideas in class, but you’ll need to use your creativity and problem-solving skills. I have some clips from previous presentations that I will show you. You just want to avoid doing an unexplained (or poorly explained) slide show of pictures from your life. This presentation must tell a story…

See the next page for theRUBRIC for this assignment.

Last year, most students received an A or a B on this project, fyi. The goal is to HELP your grade and to give you a nice keepsake video that you might even play at your graduation party or family get-together!
