ANNOUNCEMENTS:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 8TH GRADERS:The window to request an intradistrict transfer is January 15- February 15. If you are thinking about attending a high school other than your high school of residence you must apply for an intradistrict transfer. If you do not fill out the paperwork within the time line you will not likely receive the transfer. See Mrs. Slick if you have a question.

8TH GRADE SEMI-FORMAL: Save the date for a "AMidsummer Night's Dream" on Saturday, 19 May 2018.

ROSES FOR VALENTINE’S DAY: ASB will be selling wooden roses during lunch from Mon 2/5-Fri 2/9 (Or until we run out) and will deliver them on Valentine’s Day. $1 each or 5 for $3. Look for the table near the MPR and surprise a friend with one!

CLOTHING DRIVE: February is our month to collect clothing, shoes, towels, drapes, purses, even stuffed animals. All items will be recycled in some way from finding homes that need them to shredding for stuffing. Do some spring cleaning early! Bring all items to room C-3. On Fridays ASB kids will be in the big parking lot collecting.

REDLANDS ART ASSOCIATION: Youth art classes are being offered. Valentine’s craft classes, Spring art camps, and additional spring break youth art classes, you can register early by calling (792-8435) or come to the either office to pick up a flyer for more details and information.

LIBRARY NEWS:

Valentine’s Decorating Contest:Come to the library to get a paper valentine to decorate. Prizes will be awarded for awesome valentines. Contest ends on Tuesday, February 13th.

Valentine Candy Guessing Contest:Take a guess at how many pieces of candy are in the jar. Best guess wins a prize. Contest ends on Wednesday, February 14th.

7TH GRADERS: Did you receive an application for CJSF with your Honor Rollaward?Any 7th graders interested in joining CJSF for the Spring Semester should come to F-7 (Mr. Starr) on Tuesday (1/30) or Thursday (2/1) at the start of Lunch to get any questions answered regarding CJSF. You will also find out how to fill out the application and figure out if you qualify. CJSF is a great way to have fun with your friends and help our school and thecommunity. Don't wait, applications are due by Friday, Feb. 9th

HARKINS MOVIE TICKETS: PTSA is selling Harkins movie tickets every Thursday before and after school to help support music and drama boosters. Tickets are $8. Sales will take place at the east entrance gate between the main office and basketball courts.

CLEMENT USB DRIVES: 8GB drives available for $6. Go see Mrs. Fry in C-3 to purchase one.
