Hi Parents:
Here is detailed information on using a PayPal account to pay for the skiing trip. Paypal is the sole method of payment. Utilizing the Paypal account will ensure we get an accurate headcount and payment, and ease the burden associated with tracking down checks. Payments via PayPal are due by January 26 (Pinewood Derby Day). PayPal will be the method of payment for all future outings, yearly dues, etc.
a. Log on to and if you do not already have an account, follow the directions to open a personal account (it is free).
b. Once registered, click "Send Money" and type the following in the recipient field:
Yes, it is the pack's email address.
c. Specify the total payment you want to make, based on costs per person indicated in the attachment below
d. After you click "continue", you must write a message in the "Message" field provided saying what you are purchasing. For example, write "1 adult ticket, two kids tickets, 3 rentals, and 3 lunch tickets for $190.85 for Paul, Connor, and Christopher Duwan". This way we can be sure you get what you paid for, and we can keep track of who is attending.
That is it! Good luck, and I hope to see you on the ski slopes. PAUL
