1) bias – being for or against one person, group, or thing, without including information on the other side.

2) “jumping on the” bandwagon – joining a group or a belief because many people have.

3)testimonials – a personal recommendation in support of a fact or truth.

Why we talk about fact and opinion with Persuasive writing…

~In order to Persuade (convince someone of something), use both opinion AND fact.

Remember: When trying to be Persuasive through facts and opinions, it’s helpful to use quotes, statistics, examples/suggestions, etc...

EXAMPLES/SUGGESTIONS: Ideas for what to do/what it would be like/recommendation
