1 Introduction

1.1 Overview

This document describes the enhancements and changes made to the FPDS-NG system in the software release for Service Pack 58.0. The Software Problem Report (SPR) tracking number is included for each change.

1.2 Documentation

2 Bug Fixes Completed

FPDSHD-26222 / Problem: Invalid search results are displayed in FPDS-NG when users use the back button to refresh the advanced search screen results. This occurs because the cache is not getting cleared if the user clicks the back button.
Solution: Ensure that if the users clicks the back button when using the advanced search functionality that the cache is cleared.

3 Business Functionality Changes

SPR Number / Description
FPDSNG-3147 (CR168) / The Very Small Business Set-Aside pilot program was terminated on December 8, 2004 per the Federal Register annuncement. The choice is now obsolete.
Therefore, FPDS-NG will leave the Very Small Business Set Aside in the drop down listing for the Type of Set Aside column, but include a validation rule so that users cannot select this value if the date signed is greater than December 8, 2004. This way, if the value was used for older contracts it will display properly on the screen. If the value is provided from a contract writing system, the value will error and not be accepted, if the date signed of the contract is greater than December 8, 2004.

4 Report Changes

FPDSNG-2882 / FPDS-NG will be adding the Department of Defense’s organizational hierarchy and functional dimensions as a drill down paths for the RCRA report. We are also adding the agency, department, commands, region and contracting office to the RCRA report search criteria screen as optional search criteria.

Please note that FPDSNG-2953 (CR144) will not be available for April 11, 2008 release. This enhancement will be available in a future service pack.
