We look forward to seeing you at the FCA National Collegiate Camp this summer! This letter is to let you know you are officially enrolled for the first ever NCC Collegiate Camp at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. FCA Camp will be an unforgettable week full of resources, training, spiritual growth and fun.

This letter will provide many of the answers to many of the questions you may have concerning camp, so please take some time and read through all of the information. We hope this will answer most of your questions, but if not, feel free to contact our camp director, Josh Sonoga at 1-304-906-8147.

National Collegiate Camp

As a collegiate student-athlete, you will be encouraged in your faith, poured into by leaders and learn how to use your leadership to impact and influence your campus for Jesus Christ.

Check In/Registration

When you arrive in Morgantown, come to the Evansdale Residential Complex (directions attached) between 3p.m. and 5p.m. The program officially begins with the Opening Team Meeting at 5:00p.m.

The following items listed below are needed to complete your registration at check-in:

  • Funds for Remaining Balance
  • Student Permission Waiver Form (Online or Enclosed)
  • Copy of Insurance Card

Early Arrival

Housing will not be available until 3p.m. Friday, May 27th. The first camp meal is Friday evening at 6p.m. Any housing or meals prior to Friday’s dinner will have to be arranged and paid for by the camper.

Departing Camp

Camp officially ends at 10:30a.m., after the Team Chapel/Huddle Prayer Walk on Monday, May 30st.

Fees

All unpaid fees are due at the time of registration.

Cancellations can be made one week prior to camp beginning up until Friday, May 20th. Any cancellations made after May 20th will be non-refundable.

Insurance

FCA will only provide secondary insurance coverage for the camper during the stay at Camp. In case of injury or illness, campers will need to provide proof of insurance coverage at the time of treatment. A photocopy of your insurance card will be sufficient. Campers not covered by family insurance will be cared for.

Camp Enrollment includes:

  • Tshirt
  • Lanyards
  • Bibles
  • 3 nights housing & 8 meals

Shopping FCA

Enrollment fees cover all essentials, but you will want to bring spending money for incidentals and extras such as FCA merchandise. We will be selling a variety of FCA T-shirts, hats, water bottles, etc. You will not want to miss out on all the great merchandise!

Daily Activities

What to Wear and Bring

Modest athletic attire is preferred at all times during camp. Keep your clothing and equipment simple. Bring tennis shoes and attire that you will need for competitions. Bring appropriate swim suits and towels. Some people wear shoes with rubber cleats for some field games.

  • Blanket and Pillow

  • Small Backpack
  • Notebook/Pen

Directions

By Car: At the intersection of I-79 and I-68, WVU is approximately 70 miles south of Pittsburgh or 200 miles northwest of Washington, DC.

By Air: The closest airports are the Morgantown Airport and the Pittsburgh International Airport. The Grey Line Mountain Line Bus runs a shuttle from Pittsburgh to Morgantown twice daily.
