4 / Correspondence / The Thembalishle Centre in Springbok invited Famsa Springbok to be part of the training. The National Prosecuting Authority will facilitate the three day course in conjunction with the SAPD, DOJ, DSD, DOH and Famsa.
Estelle van Schoor to be informed of the existing Centre in Springbok.
Mrs. Faul did not attend the Reunification Workshop in Kimberley, she was on sick leave but is attending the Supervision Framework in Upington on the 10 & 11 September 2012.
Christa Lusse mentioned the NGO Form that still has to be elected in De Aar on 14 September 2012, the main goal is to find a strategic plan for HIV. / Springbok office

6. / New points / discussions
6.1 / Upington Office / Mr du Plessis will be in Johannesburg this week, attending several National Board meetings, he will see if he could join in at 8 o’clock every morning for a briefSkype meetings.
Nelia van Deventer is busy sorting out the log in’s she will call everyone personally – please be patient.
Des gave feedback on Petra College – everything went well.There were two weeks of training in the community;they worked with the families and build relationships in the families. They are busy with Life Line, working on HIV and Aids training. They identified 20 people in the community to volunteer. The training of Life Line will take place on 17 or 24 September but it’s not finalized yet. Program will start in October 2012 until September 2013. The topic of the training will be on male circumcision to raise awareness.
Lucky gave feedback on his Community Enrichment Program in Postmasburg last week. He thanked Michelle for her help and the volunteers asked for more time to get more communities. Program will start in October 2012. / Mr du Plessis

6.2 / Springbok Office / All is well at the Springbok Office.
6.3 / Kathu / The Kathu Office is planning to host a Mens Camp at Uzip – 5 – 7 October 2012. The Family Foundation will be presenting the content. Mr du Plessis asked if we could market it in Upington too, - Tharina must send the info through to Lizette. / Tharina
6.4 / Kuruman / Douglas and Tharina are busy with the client schedules at the mine. Douglas completed the invoices – he will send it on to Mr du Plessis. / Douglas
6.5 / Postmasburg / Everything is going fine at the mine and at the Postmasburg Office.
6.6 / Prieska / Transnet is presenting a Hygienic Program, 7 districts were chosen and they will educate 300 girls. Christa Lusse was instructed to do the training. / Christa Lusse
