2. Learnings from 2011 workshop
· What are key learnings from 2010 workshop?

- Tom vanAkkeren- We had some companies we haven’t seen before.
- We had some young people who wanted to learn.
- We had over 150 attendees – good.
- Meals were OK.

- Need a clock on the podium.
- Finishing early on Thursday was a problem.
- Should have had a booth or table for ALRDC, SRP-RIFTS.
- It was good to come to Oklahoma City.
- Maybe should have in Dallas.
- Would like to see attendees by area of the country.
- Would like to see types of people – operators, engineers, etc.
- Put some more information on the web site, or links to more information.
- Need to place a place on the Registration Form to see what problems people have.

- Need to know types of attendees: operators, analysts, etc.
- Need directions for General Chairs.
- Workshop was successful.
- Have something more interactive with the audience.

- The Conference Central and Hotel were good.
- Their services were lacking.
- There was confusion between responsibilities of hotel vs. conference center.
- They have space available for next year, on Sept. 24 – 28.
- Oklahoma City was a good choice. Good facilities close by.

- Enjoyed the Workshop.
- Print the instructions on the web site and hand to people.
- We have two audiences – technical and others.
- We need to be careful about getting too deep into some topics.
- We could have a breakout session on the wave equation.
- Too much commercialization in some of the Presentations.
- Would like to get more Operators involved in giving Presentations.

- A note for instructors on breaks, etc. was good.
- Good to have a mix of types of people attending the Workshop.

3. Workshop dates for 2012
· Should we plan for a Sucker Rod Pumping System Workshop in 2012?
· If yes, when?
· Can we avoid conflict with the Harbison-Fischer school?
· If no, should we consider having one every other year, so in 2012, 2014, etc.?

- Do we agree on these costs for the 2012 Workshop?- There will be an increased cost for the Hotel in 2012 as we will move to a different room. We agrees with increasing the charges by $25.00 across the board.
