F)ICE IN SEATTLE Jockey S Naidoo dropped his crop at the 300 metre mark. He signed an Admission of Guilt for contravening rule 62.2.2 in that he rode ICE IN SEATTLE in an unprofessional manner by dropping his crop at the 300 metre mark. He was fined R250.

G)The winner ICE IN SEATTLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer Y Bremner advised (GF). Trainer Y Bremner was questioned regarding the improved performance of this filly compared to her last start in race reference 257 onthe 09/01/2015, she explained that she had equipped this filly with blinkers for the first time today and returned her to the 1200 metre sprint distance which suits her. The Board noted this explanation and advised that she should be raced in the same manner in future.

Trainer S Janse van Rensburg was questioned regarding the improved performance compared to this gelding’s last start in race reference 327 on the 13/02/2015. He explained that he had equipped this gelding with blinkers for the first time and believed he needed the extra 400 metres. The Board advised Trainer S Janse van Rensburg to race SAVETHELASTDANCE with blinkers in future and over his suited distance.
