THE CALIFF MEDICINE RESIDENT RESEARCH AWARDS 2014

·  All residents and interns are eligible to submit an abstract of their work

·  Abstracts already presented at national and regional meetings are eligible

·  Abstracts will be judged by a faculty committee, and the top 3 will be presented as research talks (15 minutes each) during Resident Research Night on June 3, 2014

·  All Resident Research Night participants will present their abstracts as a poster during the poster sessions. The best poster will be selected between 5 – 6 pm.

·  Poster viewing will commence at 5pm and continue after the research talks

·  A poster template is available to facilitate preparation. For assistance with printing posters, please contact Ms. Lynsey Michnowicz in the MedRes Office.

Research Night June 3, 2014 TRENT SEMANS CENTER 5- 7PM

Reception and Poster Viewing 5 – 6 pm (authors present)

Research Talks and Awards 6 – 7 pm

1st place $1000

2nd place $500

3rd place $250

Best poster $250

One Table or one Figure is allowed in addition to the 300 words. No exceptions please

Supporting letter from Research Mentor is addressed to “The Califf Medicine Resident Research Award Committee” and emailed to Dr. Arcasoy please along with the abstract

Abstracts that are submitted late or over the character limit may be presented as a poster but are not eligible for awards
