All exhibits must be erected by 4:00 p.m. on Monday

ALL PERSONS or organizations wishing to sell or offer for sale any item or service, to pass out literature or samples or to solicit donations, shall first obtain space for such activity, and having paid the customary charge and been assigned space, shall confine their activities to the space assigned.

HOURS OF THE FAIR(4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Mon – Fri AND 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. Sat.)

All exhibitors must be set up and in place by 4:00 p.m. on Monday and remain in place until 10:00 p.m. on closing day. Exceptions to this must be by written permission from the Office signed by a Fair Board Officer.

ALL PERSONS shall leave the fairgrounds by midnight or 30 minutes after the close of the last show for the day, whichever occurs later, except those persons assisting with the Fair.

EXHIBITORS ARE TO PROVIDE WIRING for their exhibits to point of Electrical Hook Up Outlets. They are to provide protective devices of the proper size for their own exhibit wiring and electrical equipment. The Fair will assume no responsibility for damage to electrical or other equipment, or for loss because of power outages or equipment failure.

SAFETY – Exhibits shall be constructed and operated to assure the safety of everyone. Any machines that are in operation shall be adequately guarded and an attendant provided. All trailers and stands using heat must be equipped with fire extinguishers. No smoking in buildings.

GROUNDING -Each outside exhibit shall protect Fair visitors by grounding the trailer or appliance, by means of steel or copper rod, at least 5 foot long, driven into the ground, and connected to the unit by a No. 6 wire. Approved alternate grounding methods may be used. To protect underground utilities, do not drive the ground rod until a representative of the Fair marks the location.

SUBLETTING-No space may be sublet by an exhibitor.

SOUND SYSTEMS – No public address systems of any type may be used by exhibitors without the express consent of the Grange Fair Board. Exhibitor agrees to comply completely with the Boards decision, which shall be made on a case-by-case basis. The Board may revoke permission at any time.

PERSONS – using or selling drugs or Alcoholic beverages will be expelled from the grounds. No Alcoholic Beverages permitted on Fair Grounds.

FOOD CONCESSIONS – must post food prices.

THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO DUMPING OF GREASE permitted in the sewage system. All CO2 and Propane Cylinders in food concessions and commercial exhibits are required to be secured.

Only products listed on your contract and approved may be sold.

The Mercer County Grange Fair Board assumes no responsibility, in any way for damage or loss by water, fire, theft or otherwise.

The management reserves the right to close down or reject any concession not complying with these rules and regulations and all payment made to the Fair will be forfeited.
