To register or for more information, sign up at the desk, or call the studio at 385-2228. Current students have the first chance to sign up, so get on the list so it doesn’t fill up. To hold your place in dance camp, you’ll need to pay ½ or more.
If you are not sure what activities apply to you, ask us and we’ll help.
DANCE CAMPS:
Superhero Dance Camp:
Ages 3 – 7 (beginner 7 year olds): June 18-21, 5:30p-7:30p. Save the day and learn along
the way in ballet, tap, jazz and tumbling classes, playing dance games, makingcrafts, and more!
Royalty-in-TrainingDance Camp:
Ages 3 – 7 (beginner 7 year olds): July 16-19, 5:30p-7:30p. Princes and Princesses will love practicing the ins and outs of being royal as we learn ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling, (and maybe even a little etiquette),play dance games, make crafts, and more.
Pricing: $115 each camp; $200 both camps for same student; $90 for 2nd or 3rd sibling per camp
Music Video Dance Camp:
Ages 7 (with experience) - PreCompany:June 25-29, 9:30a-4:30p (bring your own lunch). Is your dancer ready to star in a music video? She/he will take classes in ballet, jazz, tap, acro, and hip hop then learn acting and choreography to film a video. We will film on Friday and send you all the final project via email. Bring out your child's inner Diva, Dahling!
Pricing: $300 for camp;$240 for 2nd or 3rd sibling if 1st sibling is enrolled in this camp or Adv. Dance Intensive
Summer Workshop Series:
For Company Dancers: Time for some advanced concepts in dance! We will be expanding your variety of knowledge in Workshops throughout the summer. See Attached note for specific dates, times and pricing. Don't miss out on some exciting new themes this year. Come make some memories and stretch your mind!
S.A.D.M. DANCE CONVENTION
At The Guest House at Graceland in Memphis this year, July 12-15!!! Classes eligible to participate include Seniors, Juniors, Juniorettes and Pre-Company. A variety of professional dancers, choreographers, and teachers will teach your child and others from a 4-5 state region. It is a very exciting and educational experience. A dinner banquet is included in tuition. Parents may purchase banquet tickets (but do not have to). A competition is held on Friday night in conjunction with this convention, so you may be interested in entering your solo, duet, etc. (there is a studio maximum – first come, first serve). More info coming including prices and deadline. There will also be a banquet opening number that junior members will perform.
ALSO at SADM:
Ballet Forum for ages 11 & up. Take ballet master classes and learn a variation to perform at the banquet. (Must be attending regular convention in order to sign up for Ballet Forum.).
Intro to Ballet Forum for ages 9-10. Not Old enough for Ballet Forum? This workshop will prepare you for Ballet Forum and include ballet classes and a short variation.
Note: Any Senior ages 16 + planning on taking entrance exams need to see Mrs. Tracy ASAP (you must take and pass our exams first, then contact SADM to register to take the exams).

Assistants: We need a few current assistants during dance camp weeks of June 18-21, 5:30-7:30 and July 16-19, 5:30-7:30 and possibly June 25-29, 9:30-4:30. Let us know if interested.
PRIVATE CHOREOGRAPHY: We will be offering solo lessons (Jrs and Srs only) this summer. Cost will be $220 for choreography and 4 hours of instruction. We will be having all participants sign a contract to agree to only use these dances as a student of DAB since this is summer. You will also be required to EITHER polish during the fall OR sign up to use studio space at least three times to practice on your own. This way we can be assured you will not forget choreography. Sign up begins after spring break.

Quirk It!:(Juniors & Seniors) Quirky contemporary movement, modern, and improvisation.Tues., June 26, 5:30-8:30p
Chicago & Shim Shams: (all Company to be broken into levels) A workshop including Fosse style jazz as well as tap. Thurs., June 28, 5:30-8:30p

Company Ballet I: (for Ballet 2 & 1st year Ballet 3). Intense ballet class with a variation (choreography from a famous ballet). Tues., Aug. 7, 5:30-8:00
