Juan Johnson After serving as Vice President for Diversity Strategies for The Coca-Cola Company (currently ranked in the top ten on Diversityinc.com’s list of top 50 companies for diversity) and President of the Diversity Leadership Academy, through which he facilitated many workshops and consulted with hundreds of leaders from a wide range of industries across the nation, Juan Johnson formed Juan Johnson Consulting & Facilitation, LLC (JCF) to help organizational leaders approach the work of diversity management strategically and in alignment with their specific missions. For the health care industry and hospitals in particular, Juan believes there are many compelling reasons to build organizational diversity management capabilities and individual competencies to deliver culturally and

linguistically appropriate care. However, few managers, leaders and front line workers have been provided the knowledge, tools and strategic management capabilities to work effectively with increasingly diverse patients and employees. Therefore, JCF has developed frameworks, processes and tools to support effective diversity management

and enhanced decision-making in the hospital setting.
