Event Traffic Information 2017
At the following Events there will be a traffic management system in place to help manage the traffic flows in and out of the venue.
Adidas Half Marathon -12 March 2017
The Adidas Half Marathon will be returning to Silverstone on Sunday 12 March. Traffic around the Dadford Road and A43 slip roads and A413 towards Silverstone will be heavy between 9am and 11.30am, and again between 2pm and 4pm, as runners make their way into and out of the circuit. If you are travelling in the area around these times we would recommend allowing extra time for your journey as there will be delays.
World Endurance Series –14-16 April 2017
Traffic around the Dadford Road and A43 slip roads could be heavy on Sunday between 9.00am and 11.00am, and later in the day from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. We would advise if you are travelling at these times, that you leave plenty of time for your journey.
Japfest – 30th April 2017
Delays can be expected due to heavy traffic on the A43, its slips roads and the Dadford Road between 7.00am-11.00am and 4.00pm-6.00pm. We would advise if you are travelling at these times, that you leave plenty of time for your journey.
Formula 1 British Grand Prix – 14-16 July 2017
As in previous years the one way system on the A43 will be in place from Friday 14 – Sunday 16 July and relevant diversion routes will be turned on to support this. Detailed information will be circulated nearer the event dates to those residents and villages that will be affected.
Silverstone Classic – 28-30 July 2017
A traffic management operation will be in place for all three days of this event. Delays can be expected on the A43, its slip roads and the Dadford Road on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 8.00am and 11.00am and 7.00pm and 11.00pm.00pm. We would advise if you are travelling at these times, that you leave plenty of time for your journey.
Ford Fair - 6 August 2017
Delays can be expected due to heavy traffic on the A43, its slips roads and the Dadford Road between 7.00am-11.00am and 4.00pm-6.00pm. We would advise if you are travelling at these times, that you leave plenty of time for your journey.
British Grand Prix MotoGP – 25–27 August 2017

British Superbike Championship – 8-10 September 2017

British Touring Car Championship – 16-17 September 2017
It is expected that there will be traffic around the Dadford Road and A43 slip roads on Sunday between 9.00am - 11.00am, and later in the day from 6.00pm-8.00pm. We would advise if you are travelling at these times, that you leave plenty of time for your journey.
Trax – 1 October 2017
Delays can be expected due to heavy traffic on the A43, its slips roads and the Dadford Road between 7.00am-11.00am and 4.00pm-6.00pm. We would advise if you are travelling at these times, that you leave plenty of time for your journey. Gates will open for car clubs at 7.00am and for general public at 10.00am.
