We will continue to group players by ability within thecoaching groups as we have done for the past few seasons. We will assess the children regularly basis to ensure that they are training in the correct groups.

Coaches

James, Erica and Wiz have confirmed that they will continue to provide the excellent training given last year which is great for continuity. We have a large number of assistant coaches and junior helpers but if you would like to join our list of volunteers then please let us know and we will find you a suitable role.

Presentation and registration morning

We are pleased to announce our first ever Presentation Ceremony which will take place on Sunday 6th September at Epsom Hockey Club, Woodcote Road, Epsom starting at 10am. We will be celebrating the excellent results from last season so I hope that many of you can join us. We will also be using this occasion to register players and accept payment of subscriptions. Come from 9.30am to help us to get some of the paperwork out of the way. There may also be an opportunity to try on kit.

Subscriptions

We have kept subscriptions to the same as last year at £105 per child. We offer a discount for second andsubsequent siblings. We have a new membership secretary this year, Terry Perkins, so please talk to him if these rates will be difficult for you or if you are in receipt of any benefits. We would like everyone to play.

Kit

The only way to buy club kit is via the hockey club website under the ‘General’ tab. We would encourage children playing in the U14 dev teams and older to buy the adult shirts (with numbers). Everyone will need shin pads, gumshield, club socks, navy shorts, skort or skirt. Polo shirts are recommended for training and festivals but otherwise kit is optional. Sticks can be provided.

Fixtures

All the fixtures can be found on our website under the ‘Colts’ tab.

Registration

We look forward to seeing you very soon.
