Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship / 12 / Up to $50,000 / Applicants judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. American Legion Oratorical / 9-12 / $500-$18,000 / Prepare 8-10 minute original oration on some aspect of the US Constitution emphasizing citizen duties and obligations. / January / Local and National
Elks National Foundation – Legacy Award / 12 / $4,000 / Four Minnesota awards of $4,000 ($1,000 renewable). Any child or grandchild (or step) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2012. Applicants judged on knowledge, charity, community and integrity. / January / Minnesota
Herff Jones Believe in You Scholarship / 12 / $2,000 - $12,000 / EPHS can nominate one student. Interested students need to complete the online application to be considered. The selection of winners is based strongly on leadership qualities as well as academic records, ACT/SAT test results, school recommendations, work experience, outside interests and co curricular activities. / January / State and National
Al Neuharth Free Spirit Scholarship / 11 / $1,000 - $10,000 / One scholarship plus conference costs per state for a junior interested in journalism. Conference is held in June 2014 in Washington DC. Dr. Jean L Harris Scholarship / 12 / $1,500 / Developed to honor high school seniors who promoted human rights and fostered diversity and an inclusive community spirit. Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce Business and Entrepreneur Scholarship Award – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarshp Application / 12 / $1,500 / This scholarship recognizes a level of excellence achieved by a student who lives in Eden Prairie and has demonstrated academic responsibility in the field of business and or entrepreneurship. Must be an active participant in school business course work and or work experience. Chamber member employees or family members are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi-scholarship application which also makes them eligible for other scholarships. / February / EPHS only
Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce STEM Scholarship Award – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $1,500 / Recognizes a level of excellence achieved by a high school senior who lives or attends school in Eden Prairie and has clearly demonstrated a current and future interest in one of the following academic areas: science, technology, engineering or math. Chamber member employees or family members are particularly encouraged to apply. Eden Prairie Education Association – Part of EPHS Multi -Scholarship Application / 12 / Three available for $1,000 each / This scholarship is for students who plan to major in education. Other considerations are academic achievement and special consideration is given to children of EP teachers. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi scholarship application.

Eden Prairie Lions Club Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / Eight available - $1,000 each / Eight $1,000 scholarships will be given to students planning to attend 2-year or 4-year college, university, or vocational school and who reside in Eden Prairie. Good academic standing with demonstrated civic-minded involvement in volunteer work/community projects. Eden Prairie Soccer Club Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / Three available - $1,000 each / Three $1,000 scholarships for seniors who are past or present players/referees in the Eden Prairie Soccer Club and who will be attending a 2-year or 4-year college or university. Fairview Southdale Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / Two available - $1,500 each / Considerations for this scholarship are high academic achievement, outstanding school and community citizenship and attending college in the fall. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi scholarship application which also makes them eligible for other scholarships. / February / EPHS only
FEPS Class of 1973 Spirit Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $1,000 / The 1973 EPHS Alumni wish to honor a student who exemplifies the "spirit" of EPHS through his/her commitment to EPHS - through both academics and extra-curricular activities and a desire to pursue a major in the field of Education. FEPS Griffiths Family Scholarship for Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application. / 12 / $4,000
Renewable / This $4000 (renewable for 4 years) scholarship is awarded to a graduating EPHS student who will be attending any post-secondary school and entering the field(s) of engineering, manufacturing or business. Emphasis for Selection: Strongest consideration will be given to students who can demonstrate their interest in a career in the above named fields. FEPS Griffiths Family Scholarship for Health Sciences – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $4,000
Renewable / This $4,000 (renewable for 4 years) scholarship is available to any graduating EPHS student who will be attending any post-secondary school in the fall and entering the field(s) of health sciences, nursing, medicine, or pharmacy. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi-scholarship application which also makes them eligible for other scholarships.

FEPS Holasek-Griffiths Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $2,750
Renewable / This $2,750 (renewable for 4 years) scholarship is available to any graduating EPHS student who will be attending any post-secondary school in fall and majoring in engineering, business administration or computer sciences. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi- scholarship application which also makes them eligible for other scholarships. / February / EPHS only
FEPS Matheson Family Technical School Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $2,500 / Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to EPHS seniors who will attend a technical or vocational college. The program must be at least an 18 month program and one that should lead to an associates or other technical degree. A 4-year program will also be considered but is not required. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi- scholarship application which also makes them eligible for other scholarships. / February / EPHS only
FEPS Randell D. Voas Memorial Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $500 / In honor of graduate Randy Voas who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010, this scholarship was initiated by the Voas family. Applicants should be active in school and community activities and planning to attend post-secondary education. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi- scholarship application which also makes them eligible for other scholarships. / February / EPHS only
Kopp Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $500 / Six EPHS seniors will be awarded $500. This scholarship is based on strong academics and leadership in the school and community. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi scholarship application which also makes them eligible for other scholarships. / February / EPHS only
Precision Heating and Cooling Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $500 / This scholarship is given to a senior in good standing, who has made significant effort but may not otherwise have been in the spotlight. Open to 2 or 4 year college applicant. Applicants must complete the EPHS multi- scholarship application which also makes them eligible for other scholarships. / February / EPHS only
Randy’s Run Scholarship – Part of the EPHS Multi-Scholarship Application / 12 / $2000 / Up to three $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to EPHS seniors who have a GPA of 3.25 or higher, who best characterize Randy's ideals and who are pursuing some type of post-secondary education. / February / EPHS only
Minnesota Family Involvement Council Scholarship Program / 12 / $1,000 / Senior & member of MN credit union affiliated with MN Credit Union Network. Write 500 word essay about what credit unions can do to attract young consumers. / February / Minnesota
Minnesota Masonic Charities Heritage Scholarship / 12 / $2,500
renewable / Twenty scholarships available to Minnesota students with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.59. Application requires essay, transcript, ACT/SAT scores, and recommendations. / February / Local

Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative / 12 / $1,000 / Applicants must be a graduating high school senior whose parents or legal guardians are members of MVEC. National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Upper Midwest / 12 / $2500 / For seniors planning to major in television, broadcasting or electronic media at an accredited college, university, community college or tech school. NIAAA Student Athlete Scholarship Program / 12 / $1,500 / Student athletes are invited to participate in this essay contest. Applicants must meet minimum academic requirements per the website and have participated in at least two sports for a minimum of two years each and earned at least one varsity letter in each sport. The essay topic is "How High School Athletics Has Impacted My Life." Students must go to the website to download the application and review other requirements. Application and essay must be submitted to Nancy Schmitt in Student Activities.

Optimist International Oratorical Contest / 9-12 / Up to $2,500 / Write a 4-5 minute speech on the topic - "How My Passions Impact the World" Speech competition will be held at Star Bank in EP in March 18 at 6:00pm. Written copy of speech must be turned in at competition. Local winners receive Barnes & Noble gift card and also advance to Zone level and then District level to have the opportunity to win a $2,500 college scholarship. / February / Local
