Entry Guidelines

  • The total word count should be no more than 2600 words.
  • The word count of the entry form when blank is 570. A complete entry form should not exceed 3170 words.
  • All entries must be electronic and supporting information is not permitted
  • Please note the rules at the end of the entry form.
  • A maximum of 5 insertions e.g. tables, graphs or photos may be included within the entry form.
  • Please enter the entrants name and company name as you would like to see it appear should you become a winner.

The Rules

  1. The Chamber Awards are free to enter.
  2. Entrants must have a trading address in Hertfordshire.
  3. Entries are treated in confidence.
  4. All entries must be electronic.
  5. Supporting information is not permitted unless it forms part of the entry document e.g. testimonials. A maximum of 5 inserts (e.g. tables, graphs or photos) may be included within the entry form.
  6. Please note the maximum word count for any entry is 2600 words.
  7. Entrants may be asked for staff or customer testimonials.
  8. Entries will be judged by an independent and impartial panel of judges.
  9. Award winners will be announced at the Awards gala dinner.
  10. Entry to more than one category is allowed.
  11. Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme.
  12. Incomplete entries will not be judged.
  13. All entries will be acknowledged on receipt. All entry forms will become the property of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and entries will not be returned.
  14. Proof of sending entry by email is not proof of receipt.
  15. Shortlisted entries will be publicised.
  16. The closing date for entries is Monday 19th March 2018.
  17. The judges’ decision is final.
