  • This is an end of season tournament so the age groups are for the Season 2013/14
  • U7’s games will be 5 a-side with all other ages playing 6 a-side
  • Players who are registered with an Academy/School of Excellence are NOT eligible to play in this tournament
  • Anyone found to playing Academy/School of Excellence players will have their team DISQUALIFIED from the competition
  • No team will be accepted without a current FA number to comply with insurance cover regulations
  • School teams will be accepted if they are covered by their own school insurance
  • Competition Programmes will be available to buy on the day
  • Various hot and cold refreshments will be available to buy on the day including a BAR in the club house
  • Toilet Facilities are available within the clubhouse
  • A photographer will be in attendance if you wish to purchase photographs from them on the day
  • The organisers decisions on ANY matter(s) are FINAL

Competition information (Rules, Group Draw, Directions, Health and Safety etc) will be emailed to every team entered by email 2 weeks prior to the event.

Please note NO hardcopy information will be sent to clubs/teams – it is therefore important that your correct email details are LEGIBLE & CLEAR when your entry slip is returned.

Under 7’s, U8’s and U9’s tournament will be held in accordance with FA rules and will be non-competitive and all players will receive a medal of participation. A trophy will be awarded for the team considered to be the most sporting, skilful and fair.

Cancellation (Please read carefully)

If due to inclement weather conditions, it is felt that the competition should be cancelled, this decision will be made by the tournament committee in conjunction with the referees. Entry Fees are non- refundable following cancellation of the Tournament due to circumstances beyond the control of Ashton Athletic. We will however endeavour to reschedule the Tournament for a later date and any entry fees paid will be honoured.

If the competition is cancelled but re-scheduled and the new date is inconvenient to the competing team/club, then it will be Ashton Athletics discretion if a full or part refund is granted. It will depend on the number of replacement teams being found in the intervening time period to the sum being fully/part repaid.

No team refund will be considered by the organising committee if a team withdraws from the competition within 20 FULL DAYS of the competition.
