Virtually invisible, energy-efficient and fully integrated into the profile: the Schüco LightSkin powered by Zumtobel LED lighting solution. Exclusively available for Schüco windows and façade profiles, this solution illuminates buildings at night, creating a unique and modern appearance.
Whether in RGB colours, in warm or cold white, or in high or low power, Schüco LightSkin transforms almost any façade into a designer lighting object. Innovative technology allows architectural features to be emphasised and accentuated in a targeted manner using light – from individual shop fronts and opening units through to façades. Schüco LightSkin is integrated almost invisibly, without altering the units of the outer envelope. The cabling is therefore also secure and concealed. The lights are designed to IP 65 standard and can be installed both inside and outside, exclusively in Schüco profiles. The asymmetric-ellipsoid beams of light ensure there is no glare and light scattering is kept to an absolute minimum.
The LED technology also features impressive efficiency. It requires a minimal amount of energy for a long period of illumination. In addition to assistance with design, Schüco also provides all the necessary components – fromconverters, cables and connection materials through to the lights – allfrom a single source.
