What is Title I?

Title I is a federally funded program available to schools with a high percentage of students eligible for free and reduced price lunch. These funds are above and beyond the district funds given to schools and are to be used to enhance student achievement. All staff at Title I schools are required to be highly qualified. Parents may request information regarding qualifications of teachers and staff who work with their child. Contact the principal for more information, Mr. Arena 407-320-3302.

Mission of Title I

The mission of the Parental Involvement Plan under Title I is to provide ongoing encouragement, information, and opportunity for every parent to play an instrumental role in the education of their children, and a contributing role toward the betterment of Endeavor. Together, all staff members and families will create opportunities for children to become lifelong learners and respectful, contributing members of society. /

SCPS Title I

School plans and SCPS District Policy outline the school and district expectations and establish the framework for parent participation. We invite your input and involvement. Parents can join our school Title I Family Engagement Team/District Team, PTSA, SAC or any other parent involvement teams. Please contact Mrs. Stickle, 407-320-3365 or email for any additional information about any of our Endeavor programs.
“Every student deserves a champion-an adult who will never give up on them, who realizes the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” Rita Pierson
School – Parent – Student Compact
All parents will be asked to sign an Endeavor compact. The Compact is an agreement between the parents and the school to help ensure each child’s academic success. By signing the compact all parties agree they are going to work together to improve learning. Parents are involved in developing the compact. This compact is required by the Federal Title I guidelines. /
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Conferences are one of the most important ways parents and teachers work together as a team. Conferences are a helpful way for parents to share information about their child’s special interests and strengths. It is also a good time to discuss your child’s academic progress and to get ideas on how to help your child at home. A translator is available upon request 5 days prior to meeting, contact Mrs. Was, Guidance Counselor, 407-320-3354. At Endeavor, we encourage student-led conferences, where students show their data notebooks to parents and discuss skills mastered, completed tasks and goal setting.
