END OF QUARTER CIRCULAR

Greetings from the Institute fraternity

Today, Friday 25thNovember 2016marks the end of the Academic quarter. We thank you for the continued support and look forward for the same in future.

END OF QUARTER EXAMS

The end of quarter exams were successfully conducted and the students’ results will be posted to the website by Thursday 8th December, 2016 and pinnedat the Departmental notice boards. However, statements of results can be issued on request at that time.

INTERNSHIP FOR FINALIST

Field attachment is compulsory to all finalists in all courses apart from elementary programs and a fee of shs. 40,000/= is added to the tuition fee in the final quarter. Those who go beyond the gazetted areas are required to pay an extra fee. The details can be obtained from the Bursar’s office, and an official receipt should be obtained for any payments made.

QUARTERLY TESTS

Quarterly tests will run between6th - 10th March 2017. All students are reminded to have cleared at least 60% of their dues (Hostel/Tuition fees) to be able to sit for the tests. A fee of shs. 20,000/=is charged for late registration. Full tuition payment (100%) is expected byFriday 31stMarch, 2017. A surcharge of shs. 30,000/= is always added on any late payment.

NOTE: For any payments made, students are advised to obtain an online financial statement which will serve as a receipt.

DISCIPLINE

We remind our students to observe maximum level of discipline while using the Institute facilities and to maintain good behavior while at campus both Buwambo and Wandegeya.

REGISTRATION OF NEW STUDENTS

Admission of new students for Degree, Diploma and Certificate programmes is in progress for the January, 2017 intake all interested parties should report to the Admissions office with;

  • An identity card (from previous school)
  • ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level passlips where applicable
  • Application fee of shs. 10,000/= ( Diploma /Certificate) and Degree shs. 20,000/=
  • Hostel facilities for both male and female students are available.

NEW ACADEMIC QUARTER

The next academic quarter will commence on MONDAY 16TH January, 2017(Diploma /Certificate students) Parents / Guardians are always advised to clear tuition fees before the opening of the new quarter.
