- Experience of working in a sport/fitness environment
- Experience of working in a customer service role or in a customer facing position
- Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the operation of a sports club/leisure centre including health and safety.
- Must be able to demonstrate the demands of managing a sports club
- Must be able to communicate with a wide range of people effectively at all levels
- Must understand the role that sales & marketing has in a successful club
- Experience of working with databases, inputting information and generating reports
- Experience of processing financial transactions (raising purchase orders, processing invoices and administering payments)
Desirable
- Experience of managing a team of professional sports coaches
- An understanding of Employment Legislation
