Hi *|FIRST_NAME|*,

We’re on a mission – and we need you to be a part of it.

We know that you are among those in our community who understand the need to {{mission statement}}.

When we’re successful, our mission and programs serve more than {{# of individuals}} {{type of individual}} each year. While we all should feel good about that work and its impact, we still have more work to do.

There are still more than {{# of individuals still in need}} {{type of individual}} that need our help.

But we are hopeful for the future. Together, we can begin to create a broader vision to:

●{{impact of mission on community}}

●{{impact of mission on community}}

●{{impact of mission on community}}

To continue to fulfill the promise of {{mission-related outcome}} to our community, we need your help.

I am asking you to consider making a gift to {{organization name}} to help us continue the important work of {{mission}}.

Sincerely,

{{State the question that the situation and complication requires you to answer}}?

{{Explain how your organization provides a solution in a few sentences}}.

Example:

Hi Sarah,

Meet Nyssa. She is 14 years old. She used to have very low self-esteem due to bullying. She didn’t do very well in school because she was told she wasn’t smart enough.

How does a young girl gain self-confidence in order to reach her full potential when it seems like everything is stacked against her?

Girls Who Rule is making a difference in the lives of young girls just like Nyssa by providing fun, interactive workshops. The workshops assist young ladies by building their confidence and fostering self-worth. These girls show a measurable, positive change in self-esteem after graduating our programs. They go on to positively impact their schools and communities.

Nyssa is now on the Honor Roll and started an anti-bullying program at her school.

Hi Sarah,

Meet Thea. Thea is one of our amazing volunteers. She has been with us for 5 years and loves working with young girls to make a positive difference in their lives.

Who was your first female role model?

My first female role model was Ms. Oliver. She was my 5th grade math teacher. She believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.

How did you get involved with AMe?

Ms. Oliver is actually on AMe’s Board and invited me to join one of the summer programs. It really changed how I felt about myself and even my outlook.

How did AMe make a difference to you?

AMe’s program taught me we are all unique and that we didn’t need to fit a certain mold to be special. We were taught that we all have different talents and why it is important to use our talents to help others.

What do you wish everyone knew about AMe?

Every girl should go through AMe’s program. I learned so much about myself and gained the confidence I needed to pave my own path and help others. AMe has the most caring mentors that stay in your life for more than just a summer. They continue to check in and see how you are doing to provide guidance and encouragement. I wish more girls had great mentors! It could dramatically change their lives.

How has AMe helped to shape your dreams or aspirations?

I started tutoring younger girls in math so that I could be a positive influence in their lives. I not only tutor but teach them some of the same lessons I learned from AMe. I want to be a math teacher just like Ms. Oliver. I hope to grow up to be someone other girls can look up to.

$20 will help volunteers like Thea tutor one girl in math for a month.

Will you make a $20 gift today to help Thea make a bigger impact?
