Cost: / Travel costs will be refunded to the cost of RHS bus travel
Notes: / ·  School leave of absence will be arranged for all who wish to be a messenger, parents must also notify the school
·  You must be 13 years or older to participate
·  Vouchers will be provided to purchase food & drinks
·  Meal Breaks will be given during the day
·  Free time will also be provided to all participants to allow them time to enjoy the show
·  Those volunteering may finish earlier than stated, depending on the jobs allocated on the day

This year we have been asked to supply a specific amount of Individuals each day,

Each year the Boys’ Brigade take part in assisting the Royal Highland show with messengers who are provided with duties to assist with the running of the show each day. It is a major Scottish event and takes place over four days in June, which for some would mean time off from school!

This is a great experience and day out for the boys to go along and take part in, if this is something of interest to any individuals within the Company, then please complete the entry form attached. Each person has the decision to choose specific days that suit their schedules or they can attend every day.

As well as young volunteers we will require at least one officer to attend the grounds each day and from those submitted we will then choose one adult to be the dedicated contact for the duration of the day.

Our office will contact the schools and request permission of leave for any school age individuals who wish to attend the show on the Thursday/Friday dates, and although we do this is it also recommended that the parents also notify the school nearer the time.

All relevant show information, meet points, travel etc will be confirmed and issued to those participating after the end of May, along with wristbands etc to allow entry to the show grounds. Any questions contact the office.
