Internship Responsibilities/Duties:
This internship will provide exposure to various aspects of digital media that may include, but are not limited to: SEO, search engine marketing, organic search engine optimization and web analytics. We’re looking for a rockstar student who is passionate about SEO and analytics and wants to help a startup make a big splash in the regional marketplace and compete with national home warranty companies.
The candidate should be flexible and willing to take on multiple tasks in a startup environment. This internship will benefit someone who is interested in marketing, real estate, community relations, and audience development.
The intern will be working exclusively with our marketing director in the field of SEO, email marketing campaigns and helping with the occasional blog post and metadata edit.
●Adapt to changing SEO best practices and write meta content to support client SEO initiatives
●Analyze reports to create insights that will help drive digital marketing content strategies
●Create and implement tracking code designed to measure social content executions
●Work with SEO tools and platforms to create keyword maps for America’s Choice Home Warranty’s websites
Skills / Knowledge Needed for Internship:
● Familiarity and facility with SEO tools and platforms
● Proficient in managing large amounts of data + ability to interpret + extract meaningful insight from data
● Ability to manage multiple tasks + meet deadlines
● Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Projects To Be Completed (Internship Portfolio possibilities): Ranking in top spots and overall growth shown for company within 2-3 month period.
Location(s) for Internship Work (e.g., some work done at home?):
Work will be done at the America’s Choice Home Warranty Office, where the Intern will have their own desk, maybe office space.
Days/Times Intern Needed–How Flexible: Hours and days are flexible and will will make a schedule around class time. At least 15-20 hours a week
Pay Rate/Stipend: Paid, $12-14/per hour
