London/ Milan – 4 June 2015:LA’s alternative-pop offering ECHOSMITHare confirmed as the latest addition to this year’sIsle of MTV Maltalineup. Performing songs from their debut album ‘Talking Dreams’ the band comprised of siblings Jamie, Noah, Sydney and Graham Sierotawill take to the stage of Il-Fosos Square Floriana, on Tuesday 7 July.A partnershipbetween MTVand the Malta Tourism Authority, the renowned summer music festivalnow in its ninth consecutive year, will have 50,000+ fans bouncing on the granaries forDJ Martin Garrix, Jason Derulo, Jess Glynne, Echosmithand Tori Kelly.
Echosmith first burst onto the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in September 2014with their inspirational debut track ‘Cool Kids’. The song went on to become a top 20 hit around the world, was certified double platinum in the United States and Australia and has amassed over 40 million hits on YouTube.
Dubbed MTV US Artists To Watch and MTV PUSH artists for the month of November 2014, Echosmith have since contributed to superstar DJ Zedds’s sophomore album and have embarked on theirfirst international headline tour. Check out for dates and tickets.

To kick-off the party this year, vocal powerhouse TORI KELLY will open the stage with tracks from her debut album ‘Unbreakable Smile’.
Tori first made waves in the industry after uploading a cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinking About You’ to her then rapidly growing YouTube followers - the acoustic cover racked up 23 million views. Kelly decided it was time to give her growing fan base original material and promptly released her self-written, produced and mixed EP aptly named ‘Hand Made Songs by Tori Kelly’. Rising to the Top 10 of the iTunes Pop Chart, Tori was an unsigned success.
A few short years later and Tori is ready to release her debut album on Capitol Records. In addition to being dubbed MTV US Artist To Watch and MTV PUSH artist for the month of May 2015, everyone is talking about Tori’s phenomenal performance at the Billboard Music Awards, with Ed Sheeran tweeting “Tori Kelly killed it tonight!” and John Legend saying Tori had “…the vocal performance of the night!”
Tori commented: “I’m so excited to perform at this year’s Isle of MTV Malta for the first time, see you there!”
Isle of MTV has a reputation for showcasing some of the biggest names from the international music scene. Previous performers have included Lady Gaga, Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg, Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, LMFAO, Jessie J, will.i.am and Rita Oraamongst others.
The show will be filmed and edited into a 60-minute special that will broadcast across 20 MTV channels throughout Europe. As part of an extensive integrated marketing campaign, the Isle of MTV Malta Special concert will be supported by marketing initiatives, all of which will drive awareness of the event as well as leverage MTV’s world renowned brand and unique youth insight, to further cement and promote Malta’s position as a holiday destination for young people. Over the nine years that Isle of MTV has been held in Malta, the number of visitors to the island under the age of 24 has increased by 120.9% and now account for 19.9% of all tourists.

About Echosmith
After signing to Warner Records in May 2012, it was a short journey to the charts for the musically raised sibling act. Managed by their producer-songwriter father Jeffery David, the band who features lead singer Sydney Sierota, guitarist/vocalist Jamie Sierota, bassist/vocalist Noah Sierota and drummer Graham Sierotareleased their debut album ‘Talking Dreams’ in 2013and promptly set off on tour with Adam Young’s American-Electronica project,Owl City.
This was the first time the public heard what would become their debut hit single ‘Cool Kids’ and the industry took notice too - Echosmith was named one of the ‘100 Bands You Need To Know’ by Alternative Press in April 2013.
Sophomore single ‘Come Together’ soon followed, along with a five track EP entitled ‘Acoustic Dreams’ - featuring four acoustic versions of tracks taken from ‘Talking Dreams’ plus a new bonus track.

About Tori Kelly
Californian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tori Kelly was raised on music. A daughter of two musicians, she grew up listening to the likes of Maxwell, Jill Scott and many more technically skilled singers.
At the age of ten Tori appeared on the TV talent competition Star Search, took up drums at twelve, and asked for the music production software Logic for her fifteenth birthday. From there her path led to auditioning for American Idol, but failing to make the final 24, Kelly embraced a new approach - she borrowed a guitar and posted her first cover on YouTube -Paramore’s ‘The Only Exception’.
After developing somewhat of a cult following, in 2012 Kelly released a completely self-written, produced and mixed EP entitled ‘Hand Made Songs By Tori Kelly’. The DIY project debuted at Number Nine on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and went Top 10 on the iTunes Pop chart. Tori quickly attracted the attention of influential music manager Scooter Braun who signed on to represent her and nabbed Kelly a record deal.
A second EP ‘Foreword’ followed in 2013, featuring the single ‘Dear No One’, amassing almost 13.5 million hits on YouTube. Tori has since gone on to open for artists such as Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith on worldwide arena tours and has sold-out her very own nine-city headline tour.
Tori’s debut album ‘Unbreakable Smile’ will be released internationally on 23rd June 2015 and is available for pre-order now.
