GOLD PACKAGE: £100 will include the Supreme Championship, very special rosettes with wording of your choice printed on tails, for the champion, reserve champion, trophy and full page A5 colour advert in the catalogue. Prime spots for banners and free pitch for a stall if you wish.

SILVER PACKAGE: £75 will include 3 classes with rosettes 1st-6th printed with your choice of wording printed on the tails for all 3 classes. Select your classes. Half page A5 black and white advert in the catalogue. Banners may be hung as well.

BRONZE PACKAGE: £50 will include 3 classes with rosettes 1st-6th printed with your choice of wording printed on the tails for 2 classes. Select your classes. Quarter page A5 black and white advert in the catalogue. Banners may be hung as well.

Rules


All persons competing or attending the Eastern Miniatures show are subject to the following rules which must be obeyed at all times by all persons attending the show

1. Once an entry has been made, no fees will be refunded without a vet/doctors certificate.

2. The judge’s decision is final. Any objections must be made in writing to the show secretary within 30mins of the incident and be accompanied by a deposit of £10.00 refundable only if the objection is upheld.

3. AT ALL TIMES when mounted, riders MUST wear correctly fastened protective headgear to BS EN 1384, PAS015 or ASTM F1163 standards.

4. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any class or the showground
5. All dogs must be kept on leads.
6. Children’s age is to be taken on the date of the show.
7. No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible, to compete or be prepared to compete, in any competitions without taking adequate precautions to ensure that other members of the public are not put at risk of injury.
8. Stallions and Colts may be led by a child as long as the child is competent, if the judge considers the child not in control they may ask for the exhibit leave the ring
9. Please do not muck out your lorry/trailer onto the fields.
10. Please take your litter home with you or use the bins provided.

11. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, and prohibited around the stables.

12. All bookings of the centre, once confirmed, are liable to a 50% cancellation fee should they be moved or cancelled.

13. Eastern Miniatures reserve the right to cancel, add or amend any of the competitions as they see fit, due to weather conditions etc.
14. Children must be under adult supervision at all times.

15. All horses/ponies must only move through areas shared with pedestrians at walk.

16. Neither Lime Kiln Farm EC, nor any of its representative or staff shall be held liable for any accident, injury, damage or loss what-so-ever.

17. Any animal showing signs of disease or illness will be asked to leave the show ground immediately

18. Please conduct yourself in a courteous manner, any abuse to person or animal will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave the showground.

19. ANY person whether spectator or competitor, that has been banned for any other Miniature affiliated show within the last 2 years will not be allowed on to the showground.

20. Competitors are advised to have public liability insurance

21. Any complaints must be taken up with the secretaries with a deposit of £40 within 20 minutes of the incident.

22. This show will be run with the MHCGB code of conduct in mind

23. NO lunging in collecting rings.

SPSBS Affiliated Rules

1.Classes must be confined to registered ponies. Ponies must be named on the entry form and in the catalogue if one is produced. Society rosettes must only be given to ponies registered with the society or eligible for registration (ie foals)

2. Three year old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown. All foals must be a minimum of 3weeks old on the day of the show.

3.There must be no colts or entire males in young handler classes. Children under 14years old may not show colts(excluding foals) or entire males in Inhand classes. Children under 11years old on the day of the show may not show entire males in ridden classes. In the interests of safety, hard hats must be worn by all handlers aged 14 years and under. Hard hats must be worn by all exhibitors, irrespective of age in ridden classes. In the ridden classes, if a rider falls off at any time whilst in the ring, both pony and rider must leave the ring, rider dismounted and take no further part.

Qualifers

IMHPS- 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class are qualified for the Miniature Horse of the Year Show to be held on the 25th October 2014 at Arena UK, Grantham. All exhibits have to be owned by Members of IMHPS and registered with IMHPS.

MHCGB- 1st,2nd and 3rd in each class will qualify for the Miniature Horse Club of Great Britain Championship show at Oakridge Arena 2014. Horses must be registered with MHCGB before the show. Will apply to miniature horses and miniature Shetlands under 38”

Southern Miniatures-1st , 2nd and 3rd in each class will qualify for the Posh Nags Southern Miniatures Finals at Equifest 17th August 2014 and the Kent Championship Gala at Blue Barn EC 13th September 2014. Will apply to miniatures and Shetlands.

Ring 1 – to start approx 8.30am

Class 1- Refined Yearling- Arabian or Thoroughbred type under 34”

Class 2- Refined 2&3 year old- Arabian or Thoroughbred type under 34”

Class 3- Refined 4 years +- Arabian or Thoroughbred type under 34”

Class 4- Refined Cat B- Arabian or Thoroughbred type 34- 42” any age.

Class 5- Middleweight Yearling- Horses under 34”

Class 6- Middleweight 2&3 Year old- Horses under 34”

Class 7- Middleweight 4 years +- Horses under 34”

Class 8- Middleweight Cat B - Horses 34- 42”, any age.

Class 9- Scaled Down Hack Type - Horse under 38” resembling a scaled down Thoroughbred/Arabian usually shown in the refined section, scaled down version of a show pony or hack type

Class 10- Scaled Down Hunter Type - Horse under 38” resembling a scaled down hunter/show hunter, usually shown in the middleweight section, should be slightly heavier in bone but still quality

Class 11- American Miniature Horse (AMHA) - horse registered with the American Miniature Horse Association, under 34” at the last mane hair. Please provide your AMHA number on the entry form so we can confirm registration

Class 12- American Blend – horses that are 50% AMHA, ie one parent is a registered American Miniature Horse

Class 13- Falabella – Should have both parents traceable back through parentage to the Falabella ranch in Argentina but horses with at least 80% blood are eligible for this class. Under 38”

Class 14- Falabella Blend – Minimum of 25% Falabella blood, one parent should have a sire or dam line traceable back to the Falabella ranch. Under 38”

Class 15- British Bred – horses with British breeding, including British spotted ponies, British miniatures and Shetland ponies. Under 42”

Class 16- Solid Colour – Bay, Chestnut, Black, Grey etc. Facial markings, socks or stockings are acceptable. Under 42”

Class 17- Broken Colour – Pintos, Overos, and Toveros. Under 42”

Class 18- Spotted – Blanket, Leopards etc will include pintalossas, under 42”

Class 19- Other Colour – Silver dilutes, Cream dilutes, Roans, Duns etc, under 42”

Class 20- Gelding – open to any type, under 42”

Class 21- Ultra Mini – horses not expected to mature higher than 30”, any type.

Class 22- X Factor – Judged on the horse with the most presence, enter the ring at trot, any type, under 42”

Class 23- Best Head – horses under 42”, any type.

Class 24- Prettiest Mare – horses under 42”, any type.

Class 25- Handsomest Gelding/Stallion – horses under 42”, any type.

Class 26- Novice Handler – handler any age that has not won a class at a miniature show before the day of the show. Under 42”, any type.

Class 27- Novice Horse – horse not to have won a class at a miniature show before the day of the show. Under 42”, any type.

Class 28- Young Handler 10 years and under – horses under 42”, any type.

Class 29- Young Handler 11-16 years – horses under 42”, any type.

Class 30- Best Matched Pairs – horses under 42”, any type.

Class 31- 3 From Same Breeder – 3 horses with the same prefix, can be owned by different people. Under 42”, any type.

Class 32- 2 By Same Dam/Sire – 3 horses either by the same sire or out of the same dam, Under 42”, any type.

Class 33- Best Ridden – open to any type under 42” as long as the horse can take the weight of a rider, hats must be worn.

Class 34- Exclusive Eastern Miniatures Member Yearling – open to any type, under 38”, must hold an Eastern Miniatures Membership 2015 card.

Class 35- Exclusive Eastern Miniatures Member 2&3 year old – open to any type under 42”, must hold an Eastern Miniatures Membership 2015 Card

Class 36- Exclusive Eastern Miniatures Member 4 year old + - open to any type under 42”, must hold an Eastern Miniatures Membership 2015 Card

Class 37- Heavyweight Yearling – horses under 34” may include Shetlands

Class 41- Cob – Scaled down cob type, may include Shetlands, under 42”

Open Shetlands

Open Shetland classes, ponies may be registered with any registry, society or studbook. However you must choose between the open classes or the SPSBS classes if you have an SPSBS pony, you may not compete in both sections

Class 49- High Jump – open to any type. High jump to start at 60cm and be raised with each round, under 42”

Class 58- Halter Obstacle – open to any breed or type, and be held in the outdoor school (weather permitting) Under 42”

Evening Performance- to start at 5pm

Class 59- Liberty – horses have 2 minutes to show off their paces to selected music, 30 secs to catch your horse once the music stops, please make sure you provide your music at the secretary on the day in plenty of time.

Class 60- Novice Driving – any type driven to either American or British carriage, horse not to have won in a driven class prior to the day of the show, under 42”

Class 61- Driven Miniature Horse – any type of miniature driven to American or British carriage, under 38”

Class 62- Driven Shetland – any Shetland driven to any carriage, under 42”

The Eastern Miniature Driving Championship- 1st to 2nd from classes 60-63

Class 63- Concours D’elegance – open to all, may be shown in hand or driven, under 42”

Class 64- Fancy Dress – open to any type, under 42”

Class 65- Lorry Dog – any lorry dog, award to the highest placed dog and bitch
