Job Profile: CAP Release GroupsSales and New Enquiries coordinator

Context:

Release Groups exist to support people struggling to live with a variety of dependencies. Based on the ‘12 steps’, Release Groups seek to provide a safe and confidential place for people to work through the underlying issues that cause them to lapse into life harming behaviour. Through our Release Groups we can support people to reduce or quit habits such as drinking, drug usage, smoking, gambling and negative internet usage.

Purpose:

The CAP Release Groups network is rapidly expanding. The Sales and New Enquiries coordinator will work alongside the rest of the team to enlist new churches to engage with the problem of dependency by opening a CAP Release Group.

Role:

Accountabilities:

  • To coordinate communication with hundreds of churches who have enquired about opening a CAP Release Group, including mass email and postal communication.
  • To ensure that CAP Release Group information packs are sent to everyone who needs them.
  • To coordinate phoning strategies for CAP Release Group enquirers.
  • To phone churches who have enquired about opening a CAP Release Group and get them signed up to be trained.
  • To ‘cold call’ churches with the aim of generating new interest.
  • To liaise with thePartnership, Church Partnership, CAP Job Clubs and CAP Money teams to ensure they are contributing to generating our target numbers of enquiries.
  • To liaise with the Communications team to ensure we are making the most of the promotional and advertising opportunities available.
  • To occasionally attend exhibitions or regional information days (Church Partnership Days) to generate more interest for CAP Release Groups.
  • Management and successful handling of the CAP release Group enquiry campaigns including one eveningphone session per week.

Measurable Outputs:

  • Joint responsibility to generate 1000 enquiries for CAP Release Groups in a year, assisted by the enquiries and events coordinator.
  • Individual responsibility for achieving the target percentage of enquiries generated via other teams at the charity
  • Enlist 50 of the 75 churches neededover the year to be submitted for recruitment phase
  • Achieve over 85% calls answered rate for the enquiries phone line.
  • Information packs sent out within 2 working days for 95% enquirers
  • Other specific project targets set by CAP Release Groups Team Leader.

Other responsibilities include

  • Being happy to pray with callers and being open about the evangelistic element of a CAP Release Group, where appropriate.
  • To encourage friends, family and other contacts to support the charity through the Life Changer program, and other fundraising initiatives.

Experience:
