Class 1- Lead Rein/Assisted 30/40cm (will mainly be x poles with some smallest hole uprights)

Class 2- Green 50 cm May be assisted.

Class 3- Minimus 60cm

Class 4- Novice 70 cm

Class 5- Intermediate 80cm

Class 6- Inter/Open 90 cm

Class 7- Open 1m

Followed by:

Championship- open to all 1st and 2nd placed juniors and adults from all classes.

Other Pony Club members - £11.00

Non-Pony Club members - £12.00

PLUS £1 per rider for First Aid

*Close Date: Wednesday 16th March, Entry’s accepted on the day at £15 per class. Cheques payable to: East Aberdeenshire Ponyclub

*Competitors may enter 2 consecutive classes as long as they qualify to be in them.

*Horses/ Pony’s not to have won any intermediate or above working hunter or have any BS points to compete in class 3 or below.

* 1st to 6th places in all classes for both juniors and adults.

*There will be Champion and reserve Champion for both juniors and adults.

* Competitors will jump juniors first followed by adults and depending on the numbers, the showing section may be split into juniors in school first followed by adults or may all be in 1 group for judging.

*The decision of the judge is final. Complaints may be made within 10 minutes to the show secretary in writing along with a £10 deposit, which will be returned to you if the complaint is upheld.

1 CONDUCT

♦Emergency services must have access to all parts of the competition site at all times therefore members of the public must not park vehicles so as to obstruct access

♦Any action hazardous to Health and Safety should be reported to the organise

♦All riders must wear hats manufactured to the minimum specification:

Juniors are strongly recommended to wear a body protector.

Hats under 2016 hat rule permitted:

PAS 015:1998 or 2011* with BSI Kitemark

VG1 with BSI Kitemark

Snell E2001* with the official Snell label and number

ASTM-F1163 2004a with the SEI mark

AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 or 2006

NOCSAE certificate

2 IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

Save for death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers or anyone for who they are in law responsible, neither the organisers, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

The organiser has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all official stewards. There will be no supervision provided in the warm up arena therefore riders/spectators using this arena do so at their own risk, children should be accompanied/supervised by parent or responsible adult.
