Dual Credit Testing Requirements

In order to receive college dual credit through Jefferson Community and Technical College for the courses listed below during the 2017 – 2018 school year, you musthave a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher and meet the required ACTor SAT test scores below.

The OCHS courses listed below have instructors with credentials that allow students to be awarded college dual credit through JCTC as well as high school credit if they successfully complete the course. For the AP courses listed below, if the student doesn’t pass the AP exam then the student would be awarded the college dual credit. If the student passes the AP exam and completes the college dual credit process, they can’t receive both the AP credit and college dual credit so the student and/or college must select one. Students receive weighted credit for college dual credit courses.
