I DON’T WANT YOU TO MISS OUT

John 20:24 (King James Version)
24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

INTRODUCTION: There are a lot of things we miss out on in this life, because we wasn't there; but there are some things in the future that God has for them that love him and I don't want to miss them.

  1. I DON'T WANT YOU TO MISS THE SERVICE

Matthew 18:20 (King James Version)
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

  1. A lot of church members seemingly are content to be absent when the church services are going on;
  2. but for me, I want to be there. I don't want to miss the service.
  3. If two or three get together in the Lord's name, He is going to be in the midst to bless.
  4. I don't want to miss the blessing.

Hebrews 10:25 (King James Version)
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

  1. I DON'T WANT U TO MISS THE SHOUT

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (King James Version)
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

  1. I DON'T WANT U TO MISS THE SUPPER

Revelation 19:9 (King James Version)
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

  1. When that great supper is spread in the sky, I want to be there.
  2. It will be great when the saints of all ages sit down together.
  1. I DON'T WANT U TO MISS THE SADDLE

Revelation 19:11-16 (King James Version)
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

  1. Christ came the first time to be smitten of men, to suffer and die.
  2. The next time He comes to this earth, He will come as "King of Kings and Lords of lords."
  1. I DON'T WANT U TO MISS THE SINGING

Revelation 5:9 (King James Version)
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

  1. There is an everlasting joy in THE HEAVENLY city.
  2. WE are singing a new song. The singing will be of Him, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. I don't want to miss the singing.
  1. CONCLUSION:

There is only one way we can be assured of being there when these events take place

that is through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus paid the price for every sinner at Calvary.

John 3:3 (King James Version)
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
