Please Note:
All Riders 18 Years and under must wear an ASTM approved Helmet at all times while mounted on PTRC grounds. You will not be allowed in your class without a helmet. We strongly encourage our senior riders to set a good example by wearing a helmet while mounted.
Jr. Members who are 13 yrs and older must show in all of the first 5 Horse Shows in Showmanship, to be eligible for the Ernie Bourgeois Showmanship class which will be held at 9:00 am 1 October 2016.
Participants only (must be wearing back numbers) will be allowed in the warm up arena on event days.
Rules as set out in the PRTC Rule book will be followed, no exceptions. The rulebook is available on our website A limited numbers of rulebooks will be available at the show office.
Day stalls must be cleaned out at the end of the day by spreading manure and hay thinly on grass parking area.
Members must compete in 4 of 6 Horse Shows to be eligible for Year-End awards. All the participant’s results will be used to calculate high points for the Year End Awards.
Eligible Divisions for Year End Over All High Point Trophies’: Jr. E, Jr. D, Jr. C, Jr. B and Senior.
Points will be combined in each age division between English, Western, Showmanship, Trail and Gymkhana.
*Beginner Rider points are NOT carried forward to Gymkhana events. If a beginner rider would like to have points carried over they must ride with their Age Group.

Showmanship will begin as early as 15 minutes after command class with English pleasure following as early as 15 minutes after showmanship.
Lunch break will be 30 minutes long and may be place before showmanship or English classes depending on the timing of the day.
Please do not count on Showmanship and English classes to be after ‘lunch’ as they may begin before the noon hour.
