All artists in the Trio are members of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and represent two waves of immigration from Russia in years 70s and 90s. They constantly appear in different chamber music formations as well as soloist in Israel and abroad.

Yelena Tishin
Violin
Yelena Tishin was born in 1967 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) former USSR, where she studied violin in the special music school named "Uspensky". From 1985 till 1990 she studied in the St. Petersburg Conservatoire. As a student she was performing with the Chamber and Opera Theater Orchestras of St. Petersburg.
In 1990Yelena with her family immigrated to Israel, where she joined the Israeli Symphony Orchestra of Rishon-le-Zion in the section of first violin.
In 1991 Yelena participated in the All-Israel Contest for Musician-Immigrants and won a Diploma.
Since 1992 till 2004 she was working as a freelance violinist in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Maestro Zubin Mehta. From 2004 she became a permanent member of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
Yelena Tishin appeared as a soloist with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra as well as with other Israeli orchestras. In addition she constantly performs with different chamber music formations such as The Quattro Plus ensemble and Millennium ensemble
AVRAHAM LEVENTAL
Viola
Avraham Levental was born in the USSR in 1944 and received his musical graduation there as a violinist. Until he settled in Israel in 1972 he was concertmaster of the Kazakhstan Symphony Orchestra.
He was a member of the Israel Chamber Orchestra 1972-75, and joined the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in 1975, where he switched to viola.
During his sabbatical in 1986 he was Principal Violist of the Bordeaux-Aquitaine Orchestra in France. After returning to Israel he served as acting Principal Violist in IPO, and after as Assistant Principal Viola. In 1997 quitted position Assistant Principal to devote himself to chamber music activities. He appeared as a soloist with IPO and several Israeli orchestras.
Former member of Zorin Quartet, Tel-Aviv Soloists Ensemble, H.Gertler Quartet and Tel-Aviv Chamber Music Ensemble he also appeared as guest artist with the Tel-Aviv Quartet and other chamber music formations.
Dmitry Golderman
Cello
Dmitry Golderman was born in 1961 in Russia. He studied cello in Moscow for 10 years. In 1979 Mr. Golderman immigrated to Israel, where he completed his Master’s Degree as a pupil of Professor Uzi Wiesel at the Rubin Academy at Tel Aviv University. During his military service he was a member of the Israel’s Army String Quartet. From 1985-1988 he was the Assistant Principal Cello in the Jerusalem Radio Symphony Orchestra.
In 1988 he became a member of The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
Mr. Golderman is an active chamber music player and performs with various chamber music ensembles in Israel and abroad.
