About Eagle

Over the past 25 years, Eagle has been the most popular brand within marine electronics in North America.

The company was established in 1982 and its products have, since the very beginning, been known as the most user friendly, safest and most reasonably priced alternative for the small boat market. Thanks to excellent technological standards and a focus on customer service, Eagle enjoys high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Eagle's range of products consists of fishfinding and navigation instruments specifically developed for coastal and inland lakes leisure boats. Eagle fishfinders have always been much more than depth recorders; they have helped to make successful fishing trips simpler and more economical for all anglers.

About Lowrance

Through nearly 50 years, Lowrance has been a world leading brand in maritime electronics for the motor boat market.

In 1957, Darrell Lowrance established the company and introduced at the same time the first portable fishfinding instrument for anglers in the USA. This quickly became a ‘magic box’ for American anglers, and changed their fishing methods. Since this revolution for anglers, Lowrance has developed an impressive range of advanced but nonetheless reasonably priced, and easy to use fishfinders, combined fishfinders/GPS and GPS+WAAS map plotters capable of being adapted to several different markets.

Approximately one million Lowrance products are now being sold every year. One important reason for this success is the extent of the product range; Lowrance also offers GPS products for aircraft, cars and hikers. And it is equally important that the brand Lowrance has become associated with more innovations, new patents and distinctions than any other brand in the marine electronics industry.

About Simrad

Simrad's history is filled with entrepreneurs and pioneers who - through hard work, passion and technical insight - have formed one of the world's biggest and most recognised companies in the field of marine electronics.

The brand stems from Willy Simonsen, who in 1947 established the company Simonsen Radio. During this initial phase, the core activity was production of radio communications for fishing vessels. The abbreviated name of Simrad appeared a few years later, and the company went on to gain a leading position in the development of navigation, communication, autosteering and fishfinding equipment.

Through acquisition of strong companies like Shipmate, Navico, Robertson and B&G, Simrad has become one of the biggest suppliers of marine electronics for large leisure boats, as well as for the professional market.
