This is my opportunity to assess myself regarding the Communication Core Competency we have been practicing in class. I know this is not for marks but is my chance to think about the skills needed to become a better person. I will look at my behavior, school work, and life experiences and try to discuss them with a focus on Communication skills. I will support my assessment with evidence wherever possible. I will think about the skills I want to spend time practicing and look for strategies I can use to improve myself.

Below are some descriptions of Communication Skills.

Choose an item. I can summarize key ideas and identify the ways we agree (commonalities).
Choose an item. I give, receive, and act on feedback.
Choose an item. I can recount simple experiences and activities and tell something I learned.
Choose an item. I can represent my learning, and tell how it connects to my experiences and efforts.
