Notes for Mary MCKAY
BIRTH: Birth place taken from the FGRA Sheet for Medad McKAY and Wealthy
FARBOX.
MARR: Marriage date and spouse taken from the FGRA sheet for Medad McKAY and
Wealthy FARBOX.
Mary and Nelson ORCOTT had 11 children.
DEATH: Died five days after the birth of her son Walter Samuel ORCOTT was born.
BURIAL: Look for records at the Chas Northrup Pennsylvania Cemetery Records.
NOTE: Mary's mother Wealthy TARBOX died five days after Mary's birth.
In the Murder Trial of Mary's father it was stated that he and Mary's
step mother had been married eight or ten years. Lucy died Aug 1819
which suggests they married in 1800 or 1801. Assuming that Mary's
father with a new born to care for married soon after his first wife's
death and Mary's birth. I have GUESSED that this is about 1800.
