Pre-K Screening
We are taking names for 2017-2018 school year. Please call the main office and provide your information for an upcoming screening appointment. Pre-K screening is March 22nd.
PBIS News
All of our Ravens had a great time at the Liberty Theater in December! Our school store stays busy with students using their earned tickets to purchase fun items. Students are being retaught the Raven Way during the first week of January. Remember, "Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Prepared, Be a Learner, and Be a Reader"!
Science Olympiad
Science Olympiad will start on Thursday, January 12, 3:30-5:00. Please make sure you pick up your child in the K-1 carline.
Update Information

Talent Show
The Talent Show will be Tuesday, March 21 at the Stone Center. Students in 3rd-5th grade may participate. More information, along with the application, is on Mrs. Huffman’s webpage, www.mcesmusic.weebly.com. Auditions must be completed by March 13.
Limited Bus Routes
The limited bus routes can be found on the school webpage under the transportation tab. Please remember, if it is a limited bus route in the morning then it will be a limited bus route in the afternoon.

Box Tops for Education
Great job collecting Box Tops and Labels for Education!
In December we collected over 1,600 Labels for Education! However, sadly, this program will end after June.
We need to collect all the Soup Labels and Labels for Education that we can and have them to school byMarch 1in order for them to be processed before the program ends!
Also in December we collected over 7,400 Box Tops! WOW!
We will NO longer be collecting Coke Lids! Please do not send any more in to the school!
Also we do not collect the Kellogg’s Labels. Please do not send them in!
We are still collecting the following: Box Tops and Tyson A+ Labels!
Please involve the whole family in collecting for our school! It helps out a lot!

A Note from Guidance
Please join us in our celebration of our character trait of the month: integrity. Helping our students to appreciate and display integrity is very important, and positive results will be seen outside and inside of the classroom. Please contact the counselors’ office if you need resources to share with your child in regards to “integrity”. Thank you for making MCES a great place to be!
