Christophe Labesse Appointed As Vice President

Of Office Strategy Europe

23rd April 2002 – Bourne End, UK: Christophe Labesse has been named as the Xerox vice president of Office Strategy, Europe. He will be second in command to Rod Rodericks, vice president and general manager and will be responsible for managing and implementing the new Office business model.

Labesse’s history with Xerox began in 1985 when he joined Xerox Finance in France. He moved into a European role in 1994 to develop Xerox’s Retail Business as Financial Director and he later headed the Xerox Channels Operations Group in Central & Eastern Europe.

In 1997 Labesse became the vice president and general manager of Xerox’ s fax business, based in Palo Alto, California, USA and he later lead the Xerox Small Office Home Office (SOHO) operations in Europe.

“Following my long career history with Xerox, I am delighted to step into my new role as vice president of Office strategy for Europe,” comments Labesse. “We will focus on maximising growth areas such as colour printing and value added solutions to increase our market share.”

Labesse’s appointment is effective immediately.
